As an HR Call Center Generalist , you'll be the first point of contact for employees seeking support with benefits, PTO, leave programs, retirement plans, employment verification, and other HR-related questions. You'll play a critical role in providing professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic support while helping employees navigate important workplace matters.

What You'll Do:

• Handle a high volume of inbound employee calls
• Answer HR, benefits, and employee support questions
• Research and resolve inquiries across multiple systems
• Document interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Escalate complex issues when needed
• Maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional service

What We're Looking For:

• HR, employee support, benefits, or call center experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain professional and empathetic in sensitive situations
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems at once
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

100% Onsite in Latham, NY

✨ This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service mindset who is looking to grow their HR career with a well-established organization.

• At least 2 years of human resources experience, with meaningful exposure to employee relations and day-to-day HR administration.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats across employee and management levels.

• Experience handling sensitive workplace issues with discretion, balanced judgment, and strong critical thinking.

• Familiarity with benefits support, onboarding activities, and HRIS systems used to maintain employee records and workflows.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track data, maintain accurate documentation, and manage several priorities at once.

• Working knowledge of employment practices, compliance requirements, and investigation support processes such as unemployment claims or appeals.
