Job TitleCoVolt Power is a leading utility-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) company specializing in the design and delivery of solar, battery energy storage (BESS), and high voltage infrastructure.Consistently ranked as a top-tier EPC, CoVolt Power leverages a mission-driven approach to safety and quality, delivering thousands of megawatts in renewable assets that support a more resilient and sustainable energy future for developers, utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), and data center operators across North America.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task at hand.Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding on various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and aluminum.Ensure work is done safely, efficiently, and meets quality standards.Use a variety of tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, and hand tools.Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Clean and maintain work area and equipment.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of experience as a welder.Welding certification (such as AWS or ASME) preferred.Strong attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Ability to use hand and power tools.Strong communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good physical condition and endurance.Must pass a welding test.Physical DemandsThis position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.The ability to lift, push, pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs.The ability to stand for long periods of time.The ability to work in various weather conditions.Important Interview Policy: To ensure a focused conversation and protect the privacy of both our candidates and team members, the use of AI note-takers, recording devices, or real-time transcription software is strictly prohibited during this interview.
