Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Caregiver role located in Wasilla, AK. The Caregiver will assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and safe mobility within the home. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, medication reminders, and support with errands or appointments as needed. The role also involves observing and reporting changes in clients' conditions, offering companionship, and promoting their independence and comfort. Caregivers are expected to follow care plans, maintain clear documentation, and collaborate with supervisors and families to ensure consistent high-quality care. Qualifications Ability to provide compassionate, respectful personal care, including assistance with hygiene, mobility, and daily living tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, offer companionship, and collaborate with families and care teams. Basic home management abilities, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and safe use of household equipment. Dependable time management and organizational skills to follow care plans, maintain schedules, and document services accurately. Capacity to observe and report changes in physical or emotional condition and respond appropriately to routine care needs. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior caregiving, home care, or healthcare support experience is beneficial. Ability to meet physical demands of the role, such as standing, walking, and assisting with transfers; willingness to follow safety and infection-control procedures.
