Description The OR Service Line Lead RN is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the daily clinical operations of the OR, according to established policies and procedures. This role combines clinical (direct care) responsibilities with administrative tasks to ensure effective delivery of evidence-based clinical patient care. The RN ensures nursing practices are standardized and aligned with best practices and standards of care. They serve as a role model for patient experience, promoting courteous, respectful, and personalized customer service. The RN supports organizational goals and optimizes the clinical, financial, and human resources of the OR. Additionally, the RN is responsible for daily communication, feedback, coaching, and problem-solving within the unit. Personal growth and staff development are also key components of this role. The role emphasizes the use of the Quality-Caring Model (QCM), which is integrated throughout nursing care to promote excellent patient care, professional relationships, and self-care behaviors.
