As a Guest Service Expert, you are the face and the voice of Wingstop to all of our Guests who walk into our restaurants, providing them with authentic, positive and genuine experiences. In this role, you will spend more time than any other position interacting with our Guests by greeting them, answering the phone, taking and delivering orders - all with a great attitude and smile. Or maybe you are a Flavor Expert? The Flavor Expert is responsible for Serving the World Flavor. You will be creating wings with flavor to the max! You will play an integral role in ensuring our Guests get their cravable, fresh, and delicious wings delivered by our promise time. In this role, you will do everything from preparing our fresh, made in-house ranch, bleu cheese, and sides to packaging and delivering completed hot orders to our Guests while motivating other Flavor Experts.

As a Shift Lead at Wingstop an individual will manage the day-to-day aspects of a Wingstop. They help direct and train Team Members, while assisting in goals driven by the GM. This role is a perfect starting point for those who show a management mindset and would like to learn more about Leadership in the Wingstop system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks and responsibilities of a Wingstop crew member.
• Ensure that each Guest receives outstanding service by providing a Guest-friendly environment. That includes greeting and acknowledging every Guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of Guest Service.
• Trains newer or less experienced crew members in their tasks and responsibilities.
• Practices inventory control standards.
• Store policies are being followed by all staff members.
• Ensure appropriate cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and staffing standards are maintained.
• Open and/or close the Restaurant and meet required work hours.
• Manage and motivate the crew members.
• Ensure breaks are coordinated effectively and quickly.
• Assemble and package orders according to the Wingstop standard.
• Assist all other positions when necessary.
• Assist in keeping the kitchen & dining room clean throughout the shift.
• Ensure that all crew members are always health safety conscious.
• Resolve customer issues with efficiency and a good attitude.
• Be sure the store is clean at closing. All equipment is accounted for and put back, trash is covered and packed neatly, floors are swept and mopped, and all other daily closing procedures are being followed.

• Commitment to Guest satisfaction. Look at Restaurant Operations from the Guests point of view
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent organization, planning, time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
• Skilled at multi-tasking effectively, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old and fluent in English
• Upon hire, the candidate must complete the Manager-In-Training (MIT) program and pass ServSafe Certification within three months
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to bend and lift 50 lbs comfortably
• Ability to work in close quarters and around heat
• Must have reliable transportation to work
