Campground Supervisor-5

Compensation Amount: 16.00 USD Hourly Job Summary The Campground Supervisor assists the Campground Manager in all aspects of unit operations and floor management, including staff, inventory, equipment, and property, to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives. Additionally, the Recreation Supervisor helps cultivate a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while ensuring staff perform at consistently high levels. Responsibilities Ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times and handle complaints according to customer service standards. Monitor and supervise the set up and maintenance of the kiosk area to ensure quality standards. Recruit, supervise, schedule, discipline, review, and direct unit staff under the direction of the Campground Manager; train hourly staff for peak performance and monitor development. Maintain a safe facility environment, including standards for maintenance and upkeep of equipment, inventory, housekeeping, sanitation, cash control, dress, and employee hygiene; notify the Manager of any safety or quality control issues. Assist the management team with inventory procedures as directed. Perform opening and closing procedures. Perform all campground job functions as necessary, such as ensuring bathhouses are cleaned and functional, managing kiosk shifts, and other duties as directed. Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to management. Skill and Knowledge Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. At least 1‑2 years of experience in a campground or hospitality setting. Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people. Ability to organize and coordinate multiple priorities; work well as a team leader; and problem‑solve. Strong customer service abilities; actively seek ways to assist customers and coworkers. Physical and Mental Requirements Move on foot to accomplish tasks, frequently moving within the unit. Lift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30‑35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Operate a slow‑moving vehicle such as a golf cart or gator. Stand for the entire workday and climb steps regularly. Withstand temperature extremes in indoor and outdoor environments. Read and write work‑related documents in English. Speak clearly in English; understand customer and coworker speech. Communicate effectively with other employees in a fast‑paced environment. Physical presence at the job site is essential. Equipment Used Cash register and inventory control system. POS systems such as WebRez Pro and FareHarbor. Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners, etc.).
