Computer Tomography Technologist

Clinical Staff - Medical Ancillary SupportThe CT technologist will be responsible for providing quality diagnostic imaging for medical interpretation. Duties will include: operating CT equipment, handling patients, venipuncture, post-processing of images, patient transport, working with electronic medical records, and communication with physicians and other services. This position also includes call and holidays.Minimum Qualifications:HS diploma/GED PLUS Graduate of an approved Radiology program;New graduate or less than one (1) year of experience;Registry eligible - or registered - by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist;ART license must be obtained prior to start date and CT Advanced Certification obtained within 12 months of hire;Ability to follow oral instructions, read, and writePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Radiological SciencesOne (1) year of CT experienceAdvanced Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed TomographyAdditional Information:Executes imaging exams and manage exam data, including documenting contrast administrations and line placement/removal and verifying images are available for dictation.Provides patient care, including coordination of patient preparation and scans.
