Embedded Software Engineer, Space Systems

Salary: $150,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We require proven experience developing software in C and C++.
• We require experience building software for Linux platforms.
• We require experience developing and troubleshooting software on embedded platforms.
• We require familiarity with software development processes, standards, and configuration management tools such as Subversion or Git in an Agile environment.
• We require experience working with embedded operating systems such as Linux, FreeRTOS, or VxWorks.
• We require experience creating high-reliability software for low-power embedded systems.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• We require senior-level experience of 6+ years with a bachelors degree, or 4+ years with a masters degree.
• We require ITAR-related eligibility, meaning the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, National, or Green Card Holder.

• We lead the design and development of new software features for existing products and new applications.
• We carry software development work through the full lifecycle across multiple projects.
• We work independently or as part of a small team to complete assigned tasks.
• We collaborate with cross-functional design teams to design, develop, and test embedded software, firmware, and hardware.
• We support and enhance existing embedded systems.
• We coordinate with firmware, mechanical, RF, hardware, integration and test, and project management disciplines.
• We perform additional duties as assigned.
