Mold Maker

Mold MakerNesco Resource is seeking an experienced Mold Maker with plastic injection mold experience to join a growing manufacturing team supporting automotive customers. This role focuses on building, repairing, and troubleshooting precision molds while working with a variety of machining equipment.Responsibilities:Build, repair, and modify plastic injection molds and tooling.Troubleshoot mold issues and perform repairs/upgrades.Operate manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and other shop equipment.Perform mold assembly, spotting, polishing, drilling, tapping, and finishing work.Read blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions to complete projects.Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision tools.Collaborate with engineering, programming, and production teams to improve processes.Qualifications:3+ years of mold making or tooling experience.Experience with plastic injection molds preferred.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Ability to read prints and CAD designs.Experience with manual machining and precision measuring tools.Familiarity with mold components, hot runners, cooling systems, and mold repair.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
