ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift
Join our dedicated team as an ICU Registered Nurse in a 29-bed general ICU at a Level 2 trauma center. This role involves managing critically ill patients with advanced equipment and performing essential nursing procedures.
Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with three 12-hour shifts a week and every other weekend requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care with a patient-nurse ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 (occasionally 1:3 for patients transitioning out of ICU).
- Conduct assessments, manage ventilators, perform intubations, and place central lines.
- Administer vasoactive drips titration and monitor hemodynamic status.
- Utilize advanced technology such as CRRT, ECMO, and various monitoring equipment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN License in the state of Idaho.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; TNCC, NIH, and ABLS certifications are welcome.
- Advanced skills in vent management, ABG interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
