Marketing AssistantAs a Marketing Assistant, you will work in a key support role within Orion's Marketing team, providing high-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) while also assisting the broader marketing leadership team across events, internal communications, public relations, content, media, and partner marketing initiatives. This hybrid role combines traditional executive assistant responsibilities with hands-on coordination and support across marketing functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. They are proactive in managing competing priorities, comfortable handling confidential information, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. This role offers exposure to many aspects of Orion's marketing strategy and is a great fit for someone interested in growing a career in marketing. As we continue to evolve and live our Orion values, we are looking for someone to grow with us.It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work as a Hybrid employee, with three (3) or more days each week required on-site at one of the listed office locations. Candidates should be located within a commutable distance to an office. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.In this role, you'll get to:Manage the CMO's complex calendar, travel, and meeting logisticsPrepare agendas, materials, and follow-up items for internal and external meetingsHandle confidential information with professionalism and discretionTrack key projects and action items, ensuring deadlines are metCoordinate expense reports and support with contract routing and documentationProvide coordination support across the marketing department, including events, public relations, internal communications, content and mediaAssist with marketing initiatives such as speaker bureau scheduling, event sponsorship logistics, sales event logistics, media buy documentation and media interview schedulingMaintain team calendars, project timelines and shared planning documentsSupport tracking of key marketing projects, deliverables, and communicationsCoordinate external vendor communications and logistics when neededAssist events team with internal and external event logistics, including scheduling, vendor coordination and onsite supportSupport culture-building initiatives and multi-day team meetings in partnership with marketing and events leadershipManage event and meeting materials, catering, A/V coordination and space reservationsTrack and manage contracts requiring executive review and approvalWe're looking for talent who:Has a GED or high school diploma as requiredHas a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field as preferredHas a minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as requiredHas a minimum of one (1) year of marketing experience as preferredHas excellent time management and organizational skillsManages multiple priorities with urgency and accuracyHas excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsHas strong event planning and budget management skillsCoordinates and executes complex meetings and multi-day team eventsShows high attention to detail, organization, and follow-throughIs willing to travel up to 5% annually as requiredOwns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organizationRecommended Skills: Client-Centric, Effective Written Communication, Innovation, Technical Proficiency, Time Management, Work CollaborativelySalary Range: $23.57 - $34.20The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
