Data Analyst II

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Data Analyst II based in the United States.

This role supports a high-impact mobile inspection operation by turning complex operational data into actionable business insights.
You will build and maintain reporting, dashboards, data processes, and analytical solutions that help leaders monitor performance and make informed decisions.
The position works closely with Operations, Quality Assurance, Dispatch, Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams.
You will investigate trends, clean and transform large datasets, develop meaningful metrics, and communicate findings to business and technical stakeholders.
The role also provides opportunities to contribute to data science initiatives, improve data pipelines, and support product strategy.
Success requires strong analytical thinking, technical data skills, business curiosity, and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations.
This is a remote U.S. opportunity offering meaningful ownership while providing exposure to advanced analytics and cross-functional projects.

• Perform analysis across service operations and the vehicle auction lifecycle by defining business questions, identifying data sources, cleaning and transforming datasets, analyzing trends, and developing meaningful visualizations.

• Translate analytical findings into clear conclusions, recommendations, and compelling data stories for business stakeholders and leadership.

• Build and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards, recurring analyses, and data visualizations that support operational decision-making.

• Partner with engineering and data teams to identify appropriate data sources, develop queries, and support complex analytical initiatives.

• Assist data science and data engineering teams with problem definition, data sourcing, feature identification, outcome measurement, and analysis performance.

• Lead or contribute to projects that improve data processes, pipelines, data quality, and delivery mechanisms.

• Coordinate with data suppliers and development teams to understand inputs, outputs, transformations, and requirements for reliable data flows.

• Define and monitor KPIs, track project deliverables, measure outcomes, and communicate progress to leadership.

• Support product management by researching opportunities related to service, pricing, and repair data and helping identify new features and sources of differentiation.

• Serve as a liaison between technology and product strategy, providing expertise on operational data and system integrations.

• Prepare, maintain, and update SQL queries and other analytical processes in response to internal business requirements.

• Coordinate data feeds, integrate disparate datasets, derive metrics, and transform raw information into usable analytical outputs.

• Develop and validate data-quality monitoring mechanisms, business rules, derived metrics, and reporting models.

• Ensure analytical results and designated data stores are accurate, reliable, and suitable for collection, tracking, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

• At least 2 years of experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards.

• At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting or supporting web-based applications.

• At least 2 years of experience working with databases and database query tools, including Snowflake.

• Experience with SQL, Alteryx, Snowflake, AWS, and Power BI ; Power BI experience is required.

• Experience performing data analysis and building data processes.

• Strong SQL capabilities, including experience with stored procedures and databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or DB2.

• Experience working with large-scale datasets and conducting both quantitative and qualitative analysis.

• Ability to present data, insights, and recommendations effectively to leadership.

• Knowledge of data extrapolation, interpretation, visualization, and chart development.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for business analysis and reporting.

• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations.

• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

• Collaborative approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution.

• Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the position and complete responsibilities within required timeframes.

• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship; OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, and visa sponsorship are not available .

Benefits

• Salary: $67,100–$100,700 base salary, with actual compensation varying based on location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other relevant factors.
