Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $23 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Purchasing Agent:

• Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.
• Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve shipping or supply issues.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and supplier documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and priorities

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with purchasing or ERP software is a plus.
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or inventory management experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Background check and Drug test required
