Staffing Scheduler Job Specification:

The Staffing Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and managing the staffing needs of our facility. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet resident care requirements.

Staffing Scheduler Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for nursing and support staff.
Coordinate with department heads to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate staff availability, vacation requests, and unforeseen absences.
Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedule changes, updates, and requests for shift coverage.
Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, time-off requests, and scheduling preferences.
Collaborate with HR and management to ensure compliance with staffing policies and regulations.
Assist in recruiting and onboarding new staff members as required.

Staffing Scheduler Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Proven experience as a Scheduler or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
