Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity provides the chance to work directly within a vibrant school setting starting August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027. You'll join dedicated professionals in the Department of Student Services and play a pivotal part in enhancing student well-being and academic achievement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Maryland School Psychology License required
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist within an educational environment
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP processes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication, advocacy, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological assessments for students, interpreting results and making recommendations for interventions
• Collaborate with school staff on the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and support services as needed
• Advise teachers and parents on effective strategies to nurture students’ academic and social-emotional success
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide initiatives
• Document all services and maintain accurate student records in compliance with regulatory standards
