YOUR PURPOSE: Maintain the efficiency and success of the restaurant, private events, and tours.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

\n
• Place orders with suppliers.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, usage rates, and order history.
\n
• Conduct weekly physical inventory counts.
\n
• Identify and address issues like over-portioning, theft, or waste.
\n
• Ensure that all inventory items meet quality standards.
\n
• Rotate stock according to FIFO.
\n
• Check deliveries for accuracy and quality.
\n
• Analyze sales data and remain informed about events and promotions to predict future inventory needs.
\n
• Organize inventory storage areas and maintain proper storage conditions.
\n

MAINTAINING DATA SYSTEMS

\n
• Ensure POS system is fully functional and current.
\n
• Train staff on proper use of POS system.
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with POS system.
\n
• Use scheduling software to manage employee shifts and availability.
\n
• Audit daily time punches by staff, making corrections as necessary.
\n
• Maintain customer database with contact information and preferences.
\n
• Compose and maintain restaurant SOP's.
\n

LABOR SCHEDULING

\n
• Analyze historical sales data, reservation trends, and special events to predict guest demand,
\n
• Anticipate busy/slow periods to adjust staff levels accordingly.
\n
• Distribute bi-weekly schedules that align with forecasted demand.
\n
• Ensure schedules comply with local, state, and federal labor laws.
\n
• Balance labor cost to stay within budget while ensuring the restaurant is adequately staffed.
\n
• Adjust schedules to avoid unnecessary overtime.
\n
• Communicate any changes or updates to the schedule promptly.
\n
• Make necessary last-minute adjustments to the schedule.
\n
• Monitor staff performance and productivity.
\n
