Associate Director US Oncology Marketing Brand and Congress Strategy

Merck seeks an Associate Director to develop and execute oncology marketing strategy, including brand positioning and annual congress planning. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing promotional priorities across the portfolio lifecycle, and ensuring compliant execution of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess oncology business needs and inform promotional prioritization and congress strategy
• Lead development and execution of annual oncology congress strategy
• Define and manage work for Customer Agile Team using Agile principles and track progress
• Partner with cross-functional and global teams to advance marketing initiatives and align stakeholders
• Lead annual profit planning process and manage budget responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 5 years pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or commercial field experience
• Minimum 3 years marketing, sales, market access, or commercial strategy experience
• Demonstrated ability developing commercial strategies and leading cross-functional execution
• Experience presenting recommendations to leadership and influencing decisions
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with translation to actionable recommendations
• Experience working within Medical and Legal review processes

Compensation: $156,900–$247,000 base
