Behavioral Consultant/Mobile Therapist FT and PT positions available- Dauphin County*SIGN-ON BONUS*Be the ONE who makes the difference in the lives of people in our community. It's easy to be the positive change in someone's life.The BC/MT will gather information on the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences in written format to identify treatment goals, determine the type of behavioral intervention needed, and design behavior modification plans that are strength-based and non-aversive and respect the social-cultural background of the client and family. The Challenge, in a nutshell:Develop treatment plan involving integration from various sources with regular data-driven updates Direct child or adolescent's treatment program including consultation/intervention utilizing behavioral management techniques; regular meetings and consultation with child/adolescent and family and other treatment team membersTrack client progress through organization, review, and charting of data collected by treatment team members about frequency, intensity, and duration of targeted behaviors and positive replacement behaviorsDetermine clinical need for special evaluation and services such as medication assessment by a psychiatrist, psychological testing, or other servicesCollaborate with child and family and other involved professionals to develop daily routines during times of crisis and transition and a 24-hour crisis planWhat you need to be SUCCESSFUL in the Behavioral Consultant CHALLENGE:Passion for patient care and a desire to make positive change in someone's lifeProficiency in Excel, MS Word and ability to learn and efficiently utilize other computer applicationsMust possess or have ability to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearancesValid PA Driver's licenseBe licensed in this Commonwealth as a behavior specialist or;Have a certification as a BCBA or other accredited graduate level certification in behavior analysis or;Have a degree in ABA or;Have a minimum of 1 year of FT experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or education from an accredited college or university or;Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or education from an accredited college or universityProfessional Licensure (LBS, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT) or licensed eligibleIf YOU want to be the ONE who makes a difference in the lives of people in our community, apply for the Behavioral Consultant/Mobile Therapist- Dauphin County.
