Location: Eastmont 6315 O St Lincoln NE 68510 Eastmont, located in Lincoln, NE. We have an amazing opportunity for a Eastmont - Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN to join our team! This PRN/On-Call position starts at $22. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct PT Assessments/evaluations for assigned patients, developing and implementing a treatment and discharge plan based upon results and modifying it as necessary to meet resident/patient goals. Participate in program development in‑services and staff meetings. Promote a safe and secure environment for both team members and patients. Actively support the treatment team, department and rehabilitation goals and objectives. Assist in care planning processes; primarily working with outpatient orthopedic clients. Promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility. Qualifications & Certifications Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program. Current on the NE Registry as a licensed PTA. CPR certification or become certified within six months of hire. Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and/or certified on the applicable State Registry. One year in long‑term care or acute care setting preferred. Strong knowledge of relevant rehabilitation therapy techniques and procedures in respective discipline. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Reader. An upbeat, fun, outgoing personality and can‑do attitude. Convey the appropriate information needed to identify individuals’ requirements relative to their condition and age‑specific needs. A caring, passionate personality and ability to develop and maintain meaningful, positive relationships with residents, patients, families, physicians and team members.
