Assistant Frozen Manager

Overview Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for assisting the Grocery Manager with the operation of the frozen food section. Assists with budgeted and achievement of financial aspects. Oversees clerks, monitors merchandising, rotation, inventory levels to promote sales. Responsible for a high level of customer service. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Consistently deliver fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service. Smiling, eye contact, and thanking customers upon fulfilling requests. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation per 5S standards. Assist the Grocery Manager with day‑to‑day operations: merchandising, pricing, stocking, signage, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels. Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies for the frozen foods area and meeting transmission times. Store excess product in the freezer. Maintain courteous service store‑wide; front‑end service may be required. Adhere to company and state sanitation and pricing procedures and regulations. Unload frozen food merchandise from trucks; maintain damage and reclaims per company guidelines. Assist with training and development of new associates in the frozen food area. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow‑through to achieve desired results and objectives.
