Investment Operations Remediation Consultant

Our client, a global reinsurer, is seeking an Investment Operations Remediation Consultant to help stabilize day-to-day operations while also improving processes long term. The team is in the midst of a broader transformation, so this role offers the opportunity to help clean up and rebuild a complex investment operations environment for scale. This is a W2 hourly interim opportunity through Korn Ferry working directly with our client. Responsibilities Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks, cash mismatches, and data discrepancies Work through a backlog of open items (unmatched payments, unidentified cash, position breaks) Review investment details for accuracy (cash flows, payment timing, interest calculations, deal terms) Partner with asset managers, custodians, and Clearwater to research and resolve issues Identify root causes of recurring problems and help prevent them going forward Improve processes, data quality, and controls to reduce ongoing operational noise Support broader system and process improvements as part of the organization's transformation Skills Required Background in investment operations, investment accounting, middle office, or asset servicing Experience with alternative investments (private credit, private equity, structured products, etc.) Strong reconciliation and resolution experience Familiarity with Clearwater and working with custodians, asset managers, or outsourced accounting environments Title: Investment Operations Remediation Consultant Location: Hybrid or Remote Client Industry: Insurance Compensation: $85-$100/hr.
