Short Description Patient Navigators provide a single and centralized point of patient access to physician and radiology services across disciplines: Internal and Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Pain Management. Patient Navigators thrive in a fast‑paced environment, are highly organized, technically savvy, service‑oriented, and communicate effectively. Deliver an exceptional experience to patients, customers, and physicians by facilitating patient access throughout Cooper’s provider network. Experience Required Minimum experience within a Customer Service, Contact Center, or scheduling environment, preferably in a Healthcare setting. Preferred experience or knowledge: central scheduling, medical terminology, insurance verification, registration, or hospital/physician office. Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. Special Requirements Genuine interest in providing an excellent Customer Experience aligned with Cooper’s patient access goals. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics and expectations. Team player who resolves customer issues collaboratively. Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills. Adaptable and flexible in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient computer user: Internet, Excel, Word, Outlook. Knowledge of EPIC systems is a plus. Willingness to work varied hours/shifts as business needs change.
