Patient Representative Lead

Requisition #:675112 Location:Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category:Clerical and Administrative Support Schedule:Rotating Shift Employment Type:Full Time Serves as a knowledge and resource leader for Guest Services employees and is responsible for supporting management with various functions of the department. Responsible for assisting with the supervision of daily activities of the Patient Representatives, Information Receptionists and Patient Ambassador. Responsible for participating in training, staff evaluations and scheduling. Provides information regarding hospital services, policies and procedures to department and hospital staff, patient and families. Provides emotional support to families in times of patient crisis. High school diploma or equivalent. An Associate’s Arts degree or relevant college level coursework is preferred. At least 3 years or more of relevant work experience in a hospital/health care setting or similar customer service environment. Experience working within a critical care area with Patients/Visitors, and staff. Possess a minimum of 2 years of supervisory level (group level experience) Salary Range: Minimum 18.87/hour - Maximum 31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
