Public Relations Coordinator

Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Public Relations Coordinator to join our communications team. Job Title: Public Relations Coordinator Location: San Antonio, TX Reports to: Marketing Manager Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Develop and implement public relations strategies and campaigns to promote the organization's brand and initiatives. Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure coverage opportunities. Coordinate and support press conferences, media events, and community outreach programs. Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of PR efforts. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and platforms. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience (2+ years) in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of grammar and style. Ability to develop clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to different audiences. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with media professionals and internal stakeholders.
