Assistant Store Manager - Mr. Mikes

Job Summary TheAssistant Store Manager(ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the day‑to‑day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures. Responsibilities Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline. Supervise, develop, train, and discipline non‑exempt (hourly) employees; hold them accountable for upholding operational standards. Monitor shift cash handling and inventory. Assist in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less and inventory variations of .5% of sales or less. Maintain business records and review cashier accountability sheets as prescribed by the General Manager or Territory Manager. Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested, adhering to all cash control policies. Manage cash management procedures, including bank deposits and change orders. Maintain Grand Opening Ready Standards according to Global Partner's store image standards. Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation. Ensure store security and safety; comply with all safety and environmental guidelines. Report any issues to the proper authority and management. Ensure adequate gasoline levels and coordinate gasoline deliveries. Engage in all company promotional initiatives. Promote a high level of guest service. Perform duties as required by company policies, procedures, and the Company Handbook, and any other duties assigned by the General Manager or Territory Manager. Qualifications Must be available to work flexible hours, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. 1‑2 years of supervisory experience. Ability to work unsupervised. Excellent communication, reading, writing, and basic computer skills. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, outside and cooler conditions. Physical ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders/stairs, and lift up to 25lbs. during a shift. Access to all areas of the store, including the selling floor, stock area, and register area. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma, vocational or technical education, or equivalent required. Pay Range $19.05 – $22.26 per hour. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, geographic location, and may be modified at any time for performance or market conditions.
