It shapes our commitment to accountability, honesty, and treating people the right way — values that guide every decision we make and define our culture of service.We're now seeking a Director of Operations to help us strengthen our foundation, elevate our team, and ensure the business runs smoothly and sustainably.This is a key leadership role at AIG, responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. The Director of Operations leads execution across core departments, including guest experience, housekeeping, maintenance, and owner communication to ensure each area runs smoothly, stays on track, and delivers at a high standard.In this role, you will be highly involved in the daily flow of the business — monitoring progress, following up with team members, and making sure assigned tasks are completed fully and on time. You will serve as the central point of accountability, stepping in where needed to remove roadblocks, provide clarity, and keep operations moving forward.A major focus of this role is making sure everything is completed and accounted for by the end of each day — that all priorities have been addressed, loose ends are tied off, and the team is set up for success moving into the next day. This also involves identifying potential roadblocks with the current procedures and working with the management team to update processes and solve issues. This requires strong attention to detail, consistent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.This role serves as the final checkpoint for daily operations. While many tasks are executed by team members, the Director of Operations is responsible for ensuring they are fully completed, communicated, and closed out appropriately. Success in this role is measured not only by tasks being assigned, but by outcomes being achieved and nothing important falling through the cracks.This position calls for a steady, hands-on leader who brings structure, organization, and follow-through to a fast-paced environment. You care about doing things well, supporting the team, and making sure every detail is handled so the operation runs the way it should.Daily Operational OversightOversee day-to-day operations across guest experience, housekeeping, and maintenance to ensure everything stays on trackMonitor daily task completion and follow up with team members to ensure all responsibilities are completed fully and on timeIdentify gaps or missed items in real time and step in to resolve issues before they escalateEnsure each day is fully executed and closed out with no loose endsTeam Accountability & CommunicationMaintain consistent communication with team members to track progress, clarify expectations, and reinforce prioritiesHold team members accountable to their assigned tasks, addressing performance gaps quickly and constructivelyProvide hands-on support and direction to keep workflows moving efficientlyCreate a culture of ownership, follow-through, and reliability across the teamHelp team members develop greater ownership and problem-solving abilities by encouraging independent thinking while providing support, guidance, and accountability when needed.Owner Communication & EscalationsServe as a secondary point of contact for property owner concerns and escalations, partnering with ownership to ensure issues are addressed promptly, thoughtfully, and in alignment with AIG standards.Assist in maintaining strong property owner relationships through proactive communication and follow-through.Execution of PrioritiesTranslate company priorities into clear daily and weekly actions for the teamEnsure all operational priorities are actively being worked on and completed as expectedKeep all departments aligned and moving forward without bottlenecks or delaysQuality Control & Guest ExperienceMaintain high service standards across all touchpoints of the guest experienceEnsure issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly, with clear follow-throughParticipate in a shared on-call rotation and assist with guest service recovery efforts as needed.Monitor overall operational quality to ensure consistency and reliability in executionIdentify items, projects, or tasks that may not have a clear owner but still require attention, and proactively coordinate resolution to ensure important details are not overlooked and nothing falls through the cracksRequired Qualifications3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, property management, or other customer-focused service industriesProven ability to lead teams, implement processes, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Tech-savvy with reservation and property-management platforms.Excellent communicator with a calm, problem-solving approach.Hands-on, humble, and willing to pitch in when needed.Compensation, Benefits, & ScheduleAnnual Salary$85,000 - $95,000Bonuses: Performance-based incentive opportunities tied to owner retention, team performance, and guest satisfaction metrics (OTE): Up to $105,000 annually.BenefitsPaid time off such as PTO, sick days, and vacation daysHealth insurance401 opportunity available after 1 year of employmentScheduleFull-time position with a heavier weekend focus during peak season.
