Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple laboratory locations in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling and opportunities for skill development across diverse patient populations and clinic sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other assays
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide superior customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years phlebotomy experience or accredited certification/training
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years old
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service track record
Compensation: Base pay plus $2.00/hr float incentive and mileage reimbursement; eligible for quarterly performance bonus
