Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registrar for our client's healthcare facility. The primary responsibilities include checking in patients, verifying demographic information, collecting insurance details, and performing pre-collections at the front desk and bedside. This role involves rotating between admitting and registration duties.


Key Responsibilities

• Maintain patient check-ins and verify demographic information.
• Collect and record insurance information.
• Perform pre-collections during the registration process.
• Rotate between admitting and registration at both the desk and bedside.
• Assist patients until they are handed off to clinical staff.
• Provide comprehensive registration services in various inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Strong insurance knowledge.
• Experience in registration within a healthcare setting.
• Comfortable with patient-facing roles.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Preferred: ED registration experience and recent EPIC experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in insurance procedures.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with healthcare registration systems.
