Windham Academy is seeking a compassionate, organized, and student-centered School Nurse to join our dedicated team. The School Nurse plays a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of students while helping to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who values strong relationships with students, families, and staff and is committed to supporting the overall success of our school community.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff as needed
• Assess and manage student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in accordance with state regulations and school policies
• Develop and monitor individual healthcare plans, emergency action plans, and accommodations for students with medical needs
• Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and school staff regarding student health concerns
• Monitor immunization compliance and student medical documentation
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives throughout the school community
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Support a positive, caring, and student-focused school culture

Qualifications:

• Current New Hampshire LPN or RN
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• CPR and First Aid certification required
