KBW has recently partnered with a venture capital-backed manufacturing company based in Boston that’s actively looking to hire a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to their rapidly growing team. The Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager will be reporting directly to the Corporate Controller! The organization has been scaling rapidly and offers a tremendous amount of growth! This position is onsite in Boston 5 days per week. Main Skills/ Responsibilities: Running the month end close and oversee accounting operations (A/P, A/R, Billing, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Recognition) Lead the preparation and oversight of financial statements and maintain compliance with US GAAP Research technical accounting issues Support budgeting and forecasting and analyze financial performance Assist with preparing regulatory reporting Oversee Tax and compliance initiatives Lead a small rapidly growing team Main Qualifications Prior experience in public accounting is required CPA preferred but not require Bachelors/ Masters degree in Finance or Accounting Minimum 7-10 years of experience Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting Advanced excel skills as well as advanced knowledge of ERP systems This role is paying between 125,000-150,000 depending on experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
