Job Description Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Locations: US-VA-Ruther Glen Job Schedule: Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution location, including the building interior, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter. Monitor access points and vehicle and pedestrian traffic, verifying authorization and documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site requirements. Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
