Role: Functional Solution Architect
We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Solution Architect to lead functional design, requirements gathering, prototyping, configuration, and end-to-end ERP implementation initiatives for healthcare and public-sector customers.
The ideal candidate will combine strong functional expertise with customer-facing leadership and hands-on configuration experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops, discovery sessions, and business process analysis.
- Own functional solution architecture and design across Dynamics 365 F&O modules.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend scalable, configuration-driven solutions.
- Build functional prototypes, POCs, and working demonstrations.
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and end-to-end business process walkthroughs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and cross-functional teams.
- Support SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production hypercare.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve functional issues, and ensure successful solution delivery.
✅ Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of ERP functional consulting or implementation experience.
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / Dynamics AX experience.
- Experience as a Functional Solution Architect, Functional Lead, or Senior Functional Consultant.
- At least 2 full-cycle ERP implementations.
- Strong hands-on Dynamics 365 F&O configuration and functional solution design skills.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, prototyping, and customer demonstrations.
- Experience with Agile delivery, SIT, UAT, and production deployments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and/or Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of procurement, inventory, warehouse management, and financial processes.
- Healthcare, public health, government, or regulated-industry experience.
- Integration experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CE, or external applications.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
Ideal Candidate: A delivery-oriented, customer-facing architect who can independently gather requirements, configure Dynamics 365 F&O, build working prototypes, and guide implementation teams from solution design through deployment.
