Operations Program Manager - SMT and Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) Operations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Program Manager (OPM) to join our U.S. team. The OPM will lead consumer electronics programs in a dynamic, fast-paced startup-like environment, working directly with clients, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams. This role owns end-to-end execution while helping build and scale program management and operational processes as the organization grows. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end operations programs from product development through mass production. Own SMT and Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) operations program management Manage new product introduction (NPI), sustaining programs, and factory readiness activities. Drive quality, efficiency, cost, and delivery performance across global manufacturing partners. Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring clear communication and execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, contract manufacturers, and suppliers. Identify, assess, and escalate risks, constraints, and operational bottlenecks with mitigation plans. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure supply chain readiness. Help design, implement, and continuously improve program management and operations processes based on prior experience and best practices. Track KPIs and operational metrics to drive data-based decision-making and continuous improvement. Prepare and present program status, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership. Strong program and operations management skills with a systems-thinking mindset. Comfortable operating in ambiguity within a startup or greenfield environment. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, and execution-focused. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus). Project Management certification (PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent) preferred. Strong knowledge of SMT, FATP, manufacturing processes, and product lifecycle management. Desired Experience Level 5+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or program management. Experience working with OEMs and contract manufacturers across global supply chains. Prior people management or team leadership experience preferred. Experience building or scaling operational or program management processes.
