Job Summary:
Emergency Room registered nurse (RN) position in Easton, Maryland. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department (ER) environment, with rotating night and evening shifts. The position requires adaptability to various patient needs and diagnoses across all age groups, including infants to geriatrics. It offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Details:

• Shift: Night shifts (19:00-07:30) and evening shifts (15:00-23:30) with a schedule of 3x12 or 4x12 hours per week, rotating as needed.
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Ratio: 1:4, with potential to increase to 1:5 for lower acuity patients
• Required Qualifications: Valid Maryland state or Compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHCPI Certified, NRP (preferred), 2 years of ER experience, in addition to skills in trauma, emergency procedures, and patient management.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital or LTAC experience, trauma level certifications.
• Schedule: 36 hours minimum per week, with scheduled on-call shifts as per department needs.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include managing complex diagnoses, patient assessment, critical interventions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the ER specialty across multiple facilities and handling diverse patient conditions in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Certification & Compliance: Must possess an active Maryland or Compact RN license. Certification in CPI (Calm Every Storm online vendor), BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required; NRP or AAP preferred. Labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract, with a deadline of 5 days prior to start.
