Material Handler

Ascentec Engineering is seeking Material Handlers to join our growing team at the Tualatin facility. These positions are onsite only, not remote or hybrid, and are not eligible for visa sponsorship. Responsibilities Receive materials into stock Pick materials and deliver to downstream and upstream internal customers/departments Maintain accurate inventory levels Perform cycle counts and end‑of‑month inventory Maintain accurate inventory records in a computer system Coordinate with other staff to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Final clean and packaging for a variety of products Prepare all shipping paperwork using EpiCor, UPS, and FedEx websites Verify incoming shipments Arrange occasional LTL and same‑day shipments Local pickup and delivery backup Coordinate with other staff on shipping deadlines in a fast‑paced, quick‑turn environment Personal Qualifications Self‑starter, self‑motivated, flexible, and detail oriented Reliable and dependable Positive, customer‑focused attitude Enjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environment Honest with stellar integrity Professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situations Flexible and willing to help others as tasks change Team player Working Conditions Works in a machine shop environment Walks, bends, and lifts up to 60 lb. on a continuous basis Noise level is usually low to moderate Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed Occasional local travel may be required The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily; if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job, absent undue hardship.
