Pricing Data AnalystEmployment Type: 6 month contract Location: Remote / Hybrid in Tysons, VA Duration: 40 hours per week Compensation: $60–70/hrWe are seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to join a cross-functional team supporting a key initiative within broadcast advertising and pricing. This role is a blend of business and technology, combining business analysis, hands-on data analysis and broadcast advertising knowledge.The ideal candidate understands how TV/broadcast advertising works, is comfortable working directly with ad-sales data and can translate business needs into data requirements and actionable recommendations.Day to DayPartner with business and technical teams across Pricing, Data Science, AI and QAGather and document business requirements and help translate them into user storiesIndependently write SQL queries in Snowflake to find and analyze dataValidate data quality and accuracy and investigate discrepanciesAnalyze broadcast advertising, pricing, inventory and revenue data and provide business recommendationsSupport status reporting, daily standups and the Agile delivery processSupport a key Proof of Concept targeted for completion by year-endMust HavesStrong understanding of TV/broadcast advertising and ad-sales dataStrong SQL skills with the ability to independently write queriesExperience with Snowflake or a similar data warehouseStrong data analysis and data validation skillsExperience gathering and documenting business requirementsExperience translating requirements into user storiesAbility to work across business and technical teamsExperience working in an Agile environment and supporting status reportingAbility to analyze data and translate findings into clear business recommendationsNice to HaveExperience with WideOrbit or another broadcast ad-sales platformExperience supporting pricing, inventory, revenue or ad-sales analytics initiativesNo Bachelor's degree required.
