• Shift openings at both Fort Lauderdale and Miami Airports
• Three shifts covering 24-7 contractual obligations
• Morning, Mid-day and Overnight shift opportunities available
• Schedule: 40 hours weekly with 1 weekend day per week

Matrix Systems, Acre security company, is an industry leader in access control and security management solutions, is seeking a Field Technician - Access Control & Security Systems to service Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and Miami International (MIA) Airports.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience installing and/or servicing access control and alarm/security systems in commercial buildings
• Three years' experience installing and/or servicing access control, fire, and CCTV security systems
• Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls
• Must be a self-starter and work well without supervision
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to utilize multimeter
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers and Matrix in a timely manner to allow for accurate invoices and job cost tracking.
• Exceptional proactive customer focus and ability to work under pressure

Requirements:

• Ability to pass a 10-year Homeland Security background check for access across airports
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical Degree in electronics, security, or computer systems is a plus
• Ability to work in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite
• At least two years of wiring and terminating circuitry systems
• A valid state driver's license, without restrictions
• Successful completion of drug screen
