Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,790 per week

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Job Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The role requires complex monitoring and treatment for adult patients and collaboration with all disciplines of the care team to support optimal patient outcomes in a safe and secure environment. Candidates must bring their license on the first day. Job Details Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts Employment Type: Travel Schedule: Nights; 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Every other weekend and holidays may be required by the facility. Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Qualifications Education: Associate degree in nursing. Licensure: Registered Nurse licensure for the State of Alabama or an interstate compact license (no temporary licenses accepted). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); required AHA or NIH or Red Cross certification. Experience: Minimum 2 years in the specialty (18 months considered for candidates with the highest level of professional license); at least 1 year of recent specialty experience. Preferred Qualifications Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (required for work on a pediatric unit).
