About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU/Pre Op/Phase 2 Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1-2 years License: Pending License accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Epic Experience Description: Position for PACU/Pre Op/Phase 2 RN in a main hospital and an additional location. Three different shift times available: 08:00, 09:30, and 11:00. Patient to nurse ratio is 1:1. First-timers are accepted. Weekend shifts required as needed by the unit. No on-call shifts are required. Floating within the scope to meet facility needs is expected. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Local candidates are not accepted; a radius restriction applies. Guaranteed hours are not provided, and cancellations can occur without penalty. Special requirements include the need for Epic experience. The facility is an acute care setting; a teaching hospital with 317 staffed beds. Equipment and services available include IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy. Candidates must have experience or knowledge in a variety of nursing skills and procedures relevant to PACU. Travelers may need to float within the hospital or to affiliated facilities as necessary. A minimum of one supervisory reference is required. All background checks and compliance processes must be completed before starting.
