Senior Accountant

Financial AnalystKNM Resources is seeking a Financial Analyst to support accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and strong Excel skills.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AnalysisLead month-end and year-end close activities.Prepare financial statements and management reports.Develop financial and operational reporting.Analyze budget-to-actual results and financial trends.Identify risks, opportunities, and performance issues.Provide financial recommendations to leadership.Monitor financial activity and reporting requirements.Support external audits and prepare audit schedules.Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic PlanningSupport annual budgeting with senior finance leadership.Prepare quarterly forecasts and long-range projections.Develop financial models and supporting analyses.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis.Support strategic planning and financial initiatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Strong general accounting and financial reporting background.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
