Reports any problems, difficulties immediately to lead/supervisor.Maintains area, equipment and tools in neat, orderly condition. Performs basic machine maintenance such as removing chips, adding coolant, etc.Maintains records or other data as requiredAssists in training other operators.Ability to operate support equipment as necessary for department.Responsible for production quantity, quality and good machining practices.Observes all company policies, rules and regulations including attendance, adhering to specified break schedule, good housekeeping, safety and security.Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously.Performs other duties as required, assigned or directed.Requirements:Job Specifications:High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years' experience.Ability to use all required measurement and inspection equipment.Ability to make major adjustments/offsets including positional moves.Ability to change and re-sharpen tools as necessary.Ability to assemble and disassemble production tooling and machinery.Strong communication skills.Basic understanding of company-wide manufacturing processes.Ability to work cooperatively with others and share necessary information.We are looking for people who are highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
