Senior Scientist - GMP (HPLC, ELISA)
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Senior Scientist position in GMP laboratory environment performing complex analytical testing using HPLC and ELISA methods. Role combines hands-on technical execution with mentorship of junior scientists and contributes to method development, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Responsibilities
- Independently perform complex routine and non-routine laboratory testing including method development and validation
- Serve as technical escalation resource and hands-on troubleshooter for analytical execution issues
- Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in assigned analytical methods and platforms
- Author and review technical deliverables including methods, protocols, and quality records
- Mentor Scientist I and II staff through direct laboratory involvement and technical guidance
Requirements
- Advanced hands-on expertise in HPLC and/or ELISA analytical techniques
- Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and quality standards in laboratory settings
- Proven ability to independently execute complex laboratory testing and analytical validation
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior laboratory scientists
- US work authorization without sponsorship required
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
