Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role involves providing safe, compassionate, and individualized nursing care across various inpatient units, supporting continuity of care by floating to areas of greatest need. Key Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based nursing care and perform comprehensive patient assessments Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs Adapt quickly to different units, patient populations, and acuity levels Collaborate effectively with physicians and care teams Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress and outcomes Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions Maintain compliance with regulatory documentation standards Uphold professional and ethical nursing standards Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state; compact licenses transferable within 60 days Minimum of 1 year RN experience Willingness to float across multiple units Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred: BSN degree, strong adaptability, critical-thinking, and communication skills, and experience in medical-surgical or multiple clinical areas Additional Details Full-time position with a 10% float differential Coverage includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays Opportunities for cross-training into specialty departments Physical requirements include patient handling, documentation, and communication skills Hourly rate ranges from $38.37 to $56.17, depending on experience We offer a comprehensive benefits package supporting caregiver well-being.
