Location: Fullerton, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: Up to $28/hour

About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established multi-location organization based in Fullerton, is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join its growing finance team. This role owns billing activity across all locations, making sure invoices and adjustments go out accurately and on time. It's a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys digging into discrepancies until they're resolved.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices for all locations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Review and process billing changes and requests submitted through the company's ERP system
- Partner with Finance, Account Management, Operations, and Accounts Receivable to research and resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare and process credit memo requests in line with established approval procedures
- Apply customer cash receipts accurately and promptly to the correct accounts and invoices
- Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and other payment discrepancies
- Maintain organized, audit-ready billing documentation
- Support additional projects and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 2–4 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, cash application, or a related accounting function
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems
- Proven ability to research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high transaction volume and competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, cross-functional approach
- Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and committed to following issues through to resolution
- Multi-location experience preferred
