Position Overview

We invite a dedicated and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging experts committed to delivering superior patient care. Using cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will carry out diagnostic procedures, work alongside a supportive network of health professionals, and contribute to providing reassurance and clarity to patients through prompt and precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, ensuring each step is explained with clarity and empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment while promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures, and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
