Territory Manager

They deliver specialized hygiene, sanitation, and essential facility service programs to enterprise and commercial venues across North America. My client is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Director (essentially an Outside Sales Territory Manager) to join the expanding US sales team. This role is a pure customer-facing position focused on acquiring new high-value commercial accounts and scaling territory market share across key commercial, healthcare, hospitality, and institutional verticals. Compensation & Incentive Structure Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000+ (commensurate with experience) On-Target Earnings (OTE): Year 1 $160,000 - $180,000+, Year 2 $230,000+ Commission: Uncapped Commission Structure with strong accelerator incentives for overperformance. Key Responsibilities Territory Acquisition: Execute strategic prospecting, cold calling, field visits, and network leverage to acquire net-new commercial client accounts. Consultative Solution Selling: Conduct thorough on-site facility assessments, operational surveys, and needs evaluations with C-Suite executives, Property Managers, and Operations Directors. Contract Negotiation & Closing: Author, present, and negotiate long-term commercial B2B service contracts to maximize account profitability and lifetime customer value. Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately forecast monthly sales targets using Salesforce CRM. Vertical Expansion: Focus acquisition efforts on high-growth commercial sectors, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, commercial venues, hotels, long-term care facilities, and corporate offices. Key Qualifications Proven Track Record: Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience in a outside sales capacity, ideally selling into hotels, restaurants, large venues, transportation hubs and healthcare like hospitals and clinics. Demonstrated Hunter Mentality: Proven ability to build pipelines from scratch, open new geographic territories, and generate self-sourced leads. Consistent Performance: History of consistently hitting or exceeding sales quotas (100%+ to goal) with top-tier rankings and awards. Vertical Experience: Strong familiarity selling into healthcare facilities, commercial real estate, educational institutions, hospitality chains, or industrial manufacturing sites. CRM Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com for pipeline management and forecasting. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field preferred (equivalent direct experience considered).
