Line Cook Lead

We’re looking for an experienced line cook who brings both strong skills and steady leadership to every shift. As our Lead Line Cook, you’ll work pantry, sauté and broiler while serving as the go-to person on the line during your shifts. You’ll help keep the kitchen running smoothly, support newer cooks, and hold the line to our quality standards, all while cooking right alongside the team.

Starting Pay : $25/hour

Typical Schedule : 2pm-11pm, weekends and holidays required.

What You'll Do:

On the line

• Cook a la carte items to spec across pantry, sauté and broiler stations
• Prep soups, sauces and specials, and bring creativity to the daily menu
• Handle meat and fish fabrication and cook proteins to the correct temperatures
• Accommodate special requests to keep guests happy

As shift lead

• Coordinate workflow, station coverage and daily priorities set by the Chef
• Coach less experienced cooks on recipes, techniques and equipment
• Keep the team on track with standards for food quality, safety, sanitation, uniforms and phone use
• Spot issues early and flag them to kitchen leadership

Keeping it tight

• Run opening and closing procedures
• Maintain proper storage, rotation and labeling on the front line
• Keep stations, equipment and work areas clean and sanitized

The Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of line cook experience (preferred)
• Solid skills on pantry, sauté and broiler
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation and temperature standards
• Clear, calm communication, even when the board is full
• Patience and willingness to teach
• Good judgment and a sharp eye for quality
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
