About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Medical-surgical experience - Ability to care for telemetry patients - Strong physical assessment and critical thinking skills - Ability to manage care for patients with multiple co-morbidities Description: General Information: Number of beds is 36. Staffing varies by shift and census. Day shift staff includes RNs and LPNs. Night shift staff includes RNs and LPNs. Patient ratios are 6:1. Type of equipment includes telemetry, IV infusion pumps, bladder scanners, EKGs, enteral feeding pumps, BiPap, vapotherms, wound vacs, PCA pumps, trapezes, vein finders, and dopplers. Electronic medical records system is Meditech. On-call and floating requirements exist based on staffing and patient care needs.
