Maintenance Technician III

Keep Our Operations Running, Safely and Smoothly At Lineage, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the equipment and systems that keep our cold storage facilities running 24/7. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and improve the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems that power our operation — including hands‑on work with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems essential to our success. ***Commercial/Residential HVAC Refrigeration experts encouraged to apply*** Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable operation. Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems , upholding strict safety and compliance standards. Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment and facility control systems. Document maintenance activities and communicate updates to leadership. Maintain a safe, organized workspace and support continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications 2+ year of experience or trade school training in facility, equipment, or refrigeration maintenance (ammonia, CO₂) . Hands‑on experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred. Ammonia refrigeration certifications (e.g., RETA, IIAR, or equivalent) are a plus. Skilled with hand and power tools; basic computer proficiency. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving ability, and communication skills. Able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold or warm environments ( -20°F to 100°F ).
