Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team, responsible for welding small and large manufacturing machinery and equipment. This role requires the ability to read and understand assembly prints, pick lists, weld blueprints, and sales and shop orders. You will also utilize overhead cranes to move product around the plant.

Responsibilities

• Complete MIG welding on small and large manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Read and understand assembly prints, pick lists, weld blueprints, and sales and shop orders.
• Utilize overhead and jib cranes to move pre-welded materials or finished products.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand fabrication processes.
• Strong math skills, particularly in understanding fractions.
• Capability to weld in all directions including vertical, horizontal, and rigging.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding or equivalent schooling for small part fitting.
• Experience in heavy and custom MIG welding projects.
• Knowledge of assembly processes to minimize scrap materials.

Work Environment

Our work environment is a large equipment manufacturing shop. Standard working hours are from 6:00am to 2:30pm with plenty of overtime potential.

This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $56160.00/yr.

Benefits include competitive pay, health, dental and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401(K) with company match. They also have a HSA and FSA for employees (Benefits are attached). Double Time paid after 50 hours worked.

This is a fully onsite position in Crystal Lake,IL.

This position is anticipated to close on Jun 16, 2026.
